Manipulating Bookings
The Job Details option in TBS3 gives you access to a search screen for existing bookings:
The search bar allows you to search for bookings by a wide variety of different options:
At any time, click on the pencil icon in the left hand column, which will edit the job details for that line:
General rules for editing:
If you see a field that has a magnifying glass at the left or the right, this is a 'lookup' field..... if the magnifying glass is at the right then you can enter a portion of what you want to find and tab to get a pop up option list, or just use the magnifying glass to search from all available choices or if the magnifying glass is on the left, you can only look up a list of all choices by clicking on the magnifying glass
A lookup field will often show you relevant additional information about your selection
Many fields offer a dropdown list of known selections where this format is deemed better due to a known small number of choices
Many fields will automatically change other fields as you make selections - this is normal - and good !
Clicking the Save button should save your changes and return you to the list you had previously come from
Job Details
Now, back to our list of job details.....if you tick (select) any one line in the list of results, then the two buttons above : Show Folders and Show Items will do exactly what they say for the selected job Sometimes however, it can be easier to click on the actual job number itself - this will show you a list with just that one job displayed - which can be easier to dive in and out of folders and items Clicking on the client will take you to an edit screen of that client From the folders list of a job :
...if you select any one single folder, then clicking on the Show Items button will just show items of that one folder, where selecting all folders (or none at all) then the Show Items button will display all items of that booking:
...from the list of items, if you wish to change any one item, use the pencil at the left to edit that item, or if you wish to edit several items with the same change, you can select one or more (or all) items and use the Amend Details button :

So Update will do as expected and just update selected fields of your selected items :
